Defining an Archive Policy

This topic describes the procedure to define an archive policy.

Before you begin this task:
You must have the Process Administrator role in Process Platform Business Process Engine application package to define an archive policy.


You can use the Process Archival Manager feature to define an archive policy by setting the criteria to select the business processes to be archived, and setting the triggering type to archive those business processes.

  1. In My Applications palette in CUSP, double-click (Process Archival Manager). The Archive Policies table displays the details of archive policies that have been defined and saved, while the Archive Log View table displays the detailed log for the triggered policies.
  2. Click in the Archive Policies table. The new archive policy dialog box appears.
  3. Type the required information to define the criteria for the archive policy. Refer to New Policy Interface for more information on the fields on this dialog box.
  4. Click Save to save the archive policy. The details of the archive policy you created appear in the Archive Policies table.
